My roommates and I share an internet connection. I'm trying to figure out how to flip all the webpages upside down like this....

http://blog.g0tmi1k.com/2011/04/video-playing-with-traffic-squid.html

But do I have to do all of this in a virtual machine, passing all the guest network traffic (where they reside on the network) through an old router, into the ethernet port on my mini, then into the airport extreme, or if I can do this easier all within OSX?

ideas?

Do you want to do this the legal or illegal way?
Legal: Connect everything to TeamViewer or Skype or something (or Join.me) and request control of everything. Alt-> up arrow to flip it up.

Illegal: Get them all to download something and RAT them... RAT = Remote Access Trojan. Control everything.

This is a mixed platform household. 3 of the machines use linux. It would be best if I just had my Mac act as a proxy.
