So I'm trying to create an automator workflow, but I'm not sure I can do what I am trying to do.

I want to use the Automator to do a batch conversion of files from a pdf to jpg. Thought I had it, but all it did was run and run and run, with never an output.

Is this type of action even possible? Thanks so much.

  1. What version of OS X and Automator are you using?
  2. Describe the steps of your workflow. What actions are in your workflow? Or even better post a screenshot of your workflow or attach the workflow to your post?
  3. You can try a workflow like the one in the attached tumbnail.

Kryten2: thanks for the reply. Out of town right now, will be home tomorrow, I'll post a screen shot of what I have.

I'm wanting to convert pdf files from one folder to jpg files and send them to another folder.

I can do this via Preview, but very tedious doing 300 files one at a time.

Not sure of my Automator version, I have whatever the latest version of ML is.

Again I'm not sure I can accomplish this using Automator. Thanks again.
