So i have a 2011 iMac and I've installed bootcamp before. When i tried to do it this time it says it cannot partition disk because some files cannot be moved. I defragged my hard drive but no luck. Any ideas on why this won't work and how I can fix it??? Thanks

As the error dialog window probably suggested, you need to backup your data, reinstall Mac OS X onto a freshly formatted HDD and run Boot Camp Assistant again.

Faster would be cloning your Mac OS X partition onto an external HDD, booting from that external HDD, formatting the internal HDD and cloning back the contents from the external HDD to the internal HDD.

I don't have an external HDD and I'm not buying one just for this...ive already paid 30 bucks to defrag this stupid iMac and it didn't help
