Need help with Canon Image Class mf8170c

Hi

I'm new to this forum and new to the mac world.

I bought a canon color multifunction mf8170c a few months ago for my pc but now i switched to mac and i tried to install the printer, when i plug it in it shows up in my printer list but when i print nothing is happening.

I called up canon and they told me that its not supported by mac.

Can anyone help me find a driver or a way to make it print and scan.

If it's not supported...But depending on what that means....check Canon's website, if the driver isn't there your outta luck. Sorry, but welcome to the Mac-ing world, I think you'll find it much better over here.
