Getting a Hackintosh to work successfully demands the right chipsets, and lots of other factors. You can't simply take a stock PC like an Alienware or HP and expect it to work without monkeying around and sometimes it's not going to work at all.

Laptops are renowned for their lack of compatibility.

I have built a few desktops and using the compatible parts on Tonymac, they all work without issue.

You can do it with a lot of different hardware, but DSDTs for your board and kexts to make parts work are a complete nightmare, unless you are a boffin.
