Need help with cutting down a SIM with larger chip

Hey all - my girlfriend went to get a SIM card overseas to cut down for her ip4. The SIM she got has a way larger chip in it...will this work after being cut to microsim size? Looks like there's no way to avoid cutting into the chip...Here it is shown with a gophone sim I had already cut down for her
