Need help with deciding my next purchase MBP 2020

I just got my i5 MacBook Air last week and I generally like it as a basic computer. The fan went crazy a couple times initially and it’s been warm at times, but nothing exceptionally bad.
However, for my needs (graphic design and iOS development) I‘ve always used a MacBook Pro, my old one died and so I had to get the new Air.

I’m conflicted now. Looks more and more likely it’s gonna be a 13 inch MBP in May, not sure if I should return my Air and hope it’s a 14 inch, or keep my Air and wait for the 14 inch later this year.

Any suggestions?

With the shutdowns, it's even harder to predict than usual. You're rolling the dice if you're waiting for the new machines. I suspect that yes they'll come out this year, and I suspect they'll have a larger display, and probably (hopefully) 10th gen chips. Maybe AX Wifi. But all bets are off.

It's rumored the updated 13" MacBook Pro will come in May. If it does, it'll probably be a better fit than the MacBook Air. If the update does happen in May and it isn't a 14", I wouldn't expect a 14" later this year. I could be wrong but if a May update brings 10th gen chips, what would a 14" screen bump later this year use?

Oh so there's no solid speculation based on any substance? That is disappointing!
Was there much conjecture around the new MBA's and 16" MBP? Might be that Apple are doing a thoroughly good job of keeping the release secret?

There was some conjecture surrounding the 16" MacBook Pro. The best rumors point to the 13" being updated soon, sometime in May. Let's wait and see.
