I have a website up and running using Dreamweaver 4. I switched from my pc to the mac because the pc has crashed. I copied all the files from the pc from dreamweaver 4 and have copied them on the hard drive of the MAC...I downloaded Dreamweaver 5.5 and I can bring up some of the pages and can edit ..but none of them have the images even though they are on the hard drive. The images are hotlinks. I am afraid to upload the page because it will replace what I have and if the graphics don't show up, the website won't work.
I guess the real question is how to transfer the website from Dreamweaver4 on a PC to Dreamweaver 5.5 on a MAC...what I have I done wrong or am not doing ....thanks...

Make sure you put the images in the correct folders.

The html and/or the CSS image tags all link to images, so if the image is not where the link is set to take it from, then the image will not load on the webpage. So make sure you have all your files in the correct directory, then your site should load properly.
