I recently bought a new internal hard drive for my MBP and was planning on upgrading when i got leopard. Just to make sure my new internal hard drive would work properly i plugged it into an enclosure that i bought with it. The green light went on and i can hear the HD but my computer wont recognize it. I dont want to disconnect it since i cant do the 'safe disconnect' thing and i want to know i it will be recognized. (btw everything it compatible with each other).

if the computer doesn't see it, then you can just unplug it and nothing will happen, then try plugging it again if it doesn't see it again then maybe need a driver for the enclosure u have brought
