I bought this printer brand new from walmart, and when I attach it to my iMac G5 1.67, it doesn't show up under the Print and Fax system preferences.
However, when I connect it to my MBP, it works just fine and shows up right away and prints great.
And yes, I've tried installing their utilities that came with it and the download, but nothing. And, their utility does in fact see the printer, and can even send a test print to it, but it isn't installed under OS X's Print and Fax screen. So other apps can't use it.
