When I open up iMovie, it opens up the last saved project. How can I get it to open a fresh project?

That's the manual way though. I want to set it so when I open iMovie, a brand new project opens, and not my last saved one.

When it opens, just hit apple+N, this will open a new file for you. I don't know if you can change it to open a new project the way you want. I've noticed that sometimes if I save a project, then Quit (as in File>>Quit) it will open with a window that asks what type of project I want to create.

I don't think there's a way to get it to default to opening a new project. Main reason is probably that every time you start a new project, it creates a new file, whether or not you save it. The thinking must be that defaulting to a new project would start to litter your hard drive.
