iPad Need help with ipad/Hulu overseas

I am taking my jail broken ipad to Italy in a few weeks. Since there isn't much for us to watch on Italian tv, I would like to use my ipad to stream Hulu plus over the hotel wifi. Last time I was there it wouldn't work, it kept telling me I wasn't in the US. Is there a tweak to get around that where the streaming service thinks I'm still in the US?

You can install Hotspotshield VPN service and it then connects using a VPN (mostly US IP) and then you can use Hulu in Italy.
Or for trial search for free VPN services.
