Ok I let my niece use my iPod and she put a passcode on it and of course forgot it. The last computer I had it synced with was a shared computer at work when I tried to restore it it would load some new update and when it was about to finish the restore it would pop up error code 3194. I looked up the code and it said I need to download the latest version of software for iTunes before I can restore it. Problem is corporate put a passcode on the damned computer and it asks for permission to download it and I don't know the code and they refuse to give it to me. So is there anyway to get around this or should I just throw it out cuz at this point it kinda worthless

Does it show like its processing the thing or confirming with apple than the error shows up?

It acts like it's processing it then at the last second the error message keeps popping up

Is it jailbroken? Or has it been jailbroken before?

Oh than idk what you can do. Sorry:(

Sounds like you will have to use your own computer, and set the iPod up like it was new again. You will lose everything on the iPod though, just a warning.
