iPad Need help with iRig Mic for iPad

Just bought this for my daughter for Christmas. We don't know how to get it to work. We download the app & nothing. Tried to find a video on YouTube but I can't find one that demostrates how to use it.

Please help! Thanks.

Just plug it in the headphone jack and start using it in the Camera app. Audio is crystal clear. You can plug your headphones in the port on the cord to hear what is being said. Also there's a ton of free voice recorder apps in the store. The one they tell you to use sucks, because they want you to do in app purchases. Also works awesome in garage band if u have that. When you say Camera app...where you take pictures? The app that is ready pre-install?

Yes, the preinstalled Camera app. When the app is open, there is a button on screen that lets you switch from still camera to video mode. The irig with the video is far superior than without using the external mic.
