My iPhone 4 just started acting up after I opened it up to install a light mod kit. I am using it to create this post it works perfectly fine. My phone will now only boot in safe mode ( doesn't say it's in safe mode) and won't boot in jailbroken mode. I tried holding the home and power button for ten seconds still wouldn't boot up. Tried re jailbreaking, and booting tethered. I also reinstalled the evasion untethered jailbreak on Cydia. Still wouldn't boot up. Any suggestions??

uninstall the light mod kit, that's probably what is making your device boot into safe mode. you would have more luck posting this in the jailbreak section too
Bingo. This would be the first thing I would try. If you make any alterations, be it hardware or software, and all of the sudden you are booting into safe mode, it is a pretty safe bet that those alterations are causing the issue.
