Need help with jailbreaking.

I'm new at this. Sorry. I want to jailbreak my Verizon iPhone using greenpoision, but I have some question that I can't find the answer to.

I downloaded a bunch of apps thru iTunes already. Am I gonna lose them?

Is there anything I need to do before jailbreaking to make sure all my contacts and other info transfer?

Anything else I should know?

Make sure you backup your iphone thru itunes before you do anything.
Then just download and run GP.
All your apps, settings, contacts and all will still be there and nothing will be lost.
You will just be JB and have the "loader" icon on your phone.
Then you can install cydia thru loader and that's it.

Yep, syncing will do it.
You can also left click your iphone in itunes and select backup but syncing will also accomplish the same.
