Guys,
I could really use your help; i'm new to a mac.
I have a Network HD and my mac does see it in the shared drive but it comes up as a "pc server". I can still access my files with no problem, however, I have moved my Itunes lib file to a folder in the shared hd but everytime i turn my computer off and turn it back on - Itunes turns back to the itunes lib that is located on my mac book.
I have :
a. moved copied my itunes lib folders to the shared drive and when to prefs to change the location
b. my mac book also often shows "shared drive diconnected"
how do i get the mac book to stick to the Itunes lib to see the network hd and not the default one on the mac book?
Also, How do i set up the time machine on the network drive? I got some instruction on it but it comes back with an error....
