Hi I just got a new domain name and a web host ( a small orange ) its all setup, but i get this

2979258119_049f96e1fe.jpg

How do I fix this thanks.

Make sure your homepage is named index.html or index.php. The server is usually setup to expect this name (some servers are setup differently). The image you are providing doesn't seem to show any files uploaded to the server, like samwich is saying. You'll need to upload, via a FTP program, your web site. Your web host should have given you information about the server name to connect to with a FTP program.

Success! I got it to work with iweb if you visit it its a preloaded apple one but anyone know how to use it with dreamweaver?

you should probably check out the stickies area and look up some tutorials to help you get started.

it looks like you're already off and running but I just wanted to clarify.

your index.***(it can be .html, .htm, .php, etc) is your home page.

when people go to your site, they are technically going to www.whateveryoursite.com/index.html

this is your public folder. being that you're new to building sites, just get a simple index.html file up and link your other pages from this page.

good luck!
