Good Afternoon,

It is Sunday here and Pandigital tech support it closed so I thought I'd try the forums here....

I bought a Pandigital 11" digital photo frame and have loaded up about 500 pictures on the frame. The first time I loaded 250 photo's, I put them all into the root of the drive (if you will...). Next I reconnected, replaced about 8 photo's with ones properly rotated ( ), and copied 6 folders with more photo's in each. After disconnecting and restarting the frame, it shows the startup screen and then displays one picture and freezes there. It does not respond to the buttons on the back of the frame nor from the remote. If I connect the frame to the computer, it does not mount the drive.

Does anyone know how to reset this frame? Does it not support folders? Or did my file replace goof it up?

Any advice is welcome... Thank you.

I'm having the same exact problem, Could you give me any help?

I ended up returning the frame since I could never get through to their technical support. I hope you have better luck than me with this....

Thank you, I'll let you know how I make out!

Pandigital Photo Frame

Hi bw8!

I'm having the same problem. Do you have any update about this? :(

thanks!

sorry for the delay, I just took the thing back for an exchange (no reciept) I'll just run this off memory cards and hope for the best.

If I were to guess, the drive needs to be reformatted to the FAT file format. If I try to use a Mac format for my camera flash card in my PC at work it crashes it. Mac can read PC formats but PCs can't read Mac formats.

Pandigital/macnotebook

I just inserted the tiny little disc (quick start guide) into my mac notebook, and it is not recognized by the apple, and now I can't get it out. Any help would be much appreciated.

Mini disc in slot-loading drive.

You did not do that. You did not do that! Please tell me that you did not do that?! Joan, a slot-loading optical drive like those used in the MacBook and iMac cannot accept miniCDs and miniDVDs. They only accept standard 3.5" CDs and DVDs. To play a mini disc, you need a slot-loading drive such as those in CD/DVD player decks and Mac Pros. As quickly as you can, get your MacBook to a qualified technician. It is likely that he will have seen this mistake and will know the best way to store your computer to full working order.

I think I got it!

thanks!

I was having the same problems and tried all sorts of things but I think the issue is with the names of files. I don't know what the culprit characters were but when a picture froze, I would plug the USB into the frame, find the file, rename it (I used Test_"name"), and play the slideshow until another froze and I would repeat the process. I found 5-6 files messing with the slideshow and after renaming them all it works fine!

Hope this solves your issue

Hello,

we have seen this kind of erratic behaviour on some screens. So we developed a small app to sync digital fotoframes with OS X, called FrameLoader, which takes care of these issues. If you want, you can test the demo version here:

Any feedback is appreciated.

Kind regards,
