Need help with Preview

I just noticed one thing on my MBP. Whenever I take a screenshot, I don't see the preview of it on the icon, but I can on my MacBook. Also when I press space to get Preview, it only shows the PNG icon
Is there any setting I'm missing or something?

I just noticed that it happens with all my other types of files like JPEG etc
