Need help with SATA drive

I just purchased this drive for my Mac Pro:

I installed it, but it says that only 297GB are free out of 320GB. Is there a way to use all the storage, or at least most of it?

You've got all of it...it has to do with hard drive manufacturers using decimal (1 kB = 1000 bytes) and computers seeing binary (1 kB = 1024 bytes). See this thread for a bit more detail.
