I have an old iPhone 2g running 2.2 I got it off craigslist over a year ago and since day 1 I have never gotten the pop up that says new message, who its from, or a preview of the message, I checked settings and passcode and and SMS preview is set to ON, I still don't get the preview I also have biteSMS that I do not use and its privacy settings are also set to show preview etc. I don't even get the little number next to the text icon to show a new message, I just wanna know when I get messages! thanks for your help!
