As some of you might be aware of, Google Sync no longer works on new non-driod devices or any iphone users with a new setup after Jan. 31st. Unfortunately for me, I had a iPhone 5 that went bad and I got a new one under warranty. I used THIS method to get the contacts back on my phone, but any updates I make on my phone to my contacts under my google email address now longer syncs back to google or macs address book.
What would be the best way to transfer all of my contacts to iCloud in my phone so that I do not lose any changes I made?
Any suggestions on using anything other that iCloud going forward?

Thanks

Why switch from Google?

I would just set this up and then setup iCal and Address Book to sync as well and then you are all set.
