Need help with syncing iphone with two computers

Ok, so I just got my iphone and I want to be able to load music onto my iphone and then be able to plug it into my MBP and listen to them on itunes.

I followed this guid

and got the id number from the itunes music library, but when I had to edit it in the hex editor step, I was able to find the id # I am supposed to change is ASCII, but wasn't able to find and replace it in hex like the directions are asking.

Am I doing something wrong?
