I am installing windows seven on my imac, and it is having some problems. I did everything by the book. I got it to go through the installer, and it goes to the page where it tells the different steps that it is going to go through, including saying that it is completed. I got through all of that, and when it went to restart, then it went to the screen where it says to press any key to boot from disk. I did this, and then it went to a black screen. There is absolutely no response from it at all. I have not tried restarting it yet because I wanted to make sure that I did not mess up the windows installation. It is still stuck at that screen, and I can tell that the mac is on because I can hear the fan running on it. Please help!

After the first run from the DVD, don't run again from the DVD.

Force restart your mac and don't press any key.

Thanks for the help. I got windows on my mac. That is also a bad thing for me though because I hate windows, but I had to have it for work.
