I have alway''s use window's trying to figure if I should go over to mac's and what is the best mac I can get

well everyone is going to ask you this...what will you be using it for? Because the fastest mac at this point is the mac pro 8 core. But that may be way more then you need. So what will you be using it for? Do you want a laptop? Do you want the upgradability of a tower?

As trainguy77 said, that sort of question is meaningless without knowing what your needs are. If you want to keep it simple, though, just max out a nice Mac Pro and you'll be all set:

Okay I do not what any tower at all I am looking for a laptop and a desktop
for a bunch of files like pdf and word or what ever it is called on mac it must hold lot's of pic and lot's of music and recording stuff for like you tube and internet radio and video PLAYING and it must transfer all of my old document's form My windows xp
