Do a google search for senuti - it's a free mac program that lets you take songs off your ipod and drop them into itunes (or any other folder).

Sweet! Thanks for that pointer. I've got 3 machines with iTunes and 3 ipods. I can never keep track of which one's synced with what. This'll help bring content to any one of them.

ok next question... last thing didnt answer mine too much since i was asking for a part of the os not external software, i know thers software for windows as well... but anyway

question 1: in windows you can use ctrl + left or right to skip word by word through a line of text, how do you do this in a mac?

question 2: when i tab through fields on a web form, mac skips select tags, why does it do this? i usually will tab from city to state, type p and get pennsylvania, then tab to zip. with mac i have to click the state dropdown with a mouse. i know its a mac issue because it happens even in firefox.

thanks

thanks

The first one, you hit option + left or option + right to skip word by word
apple (command) + left or apple (command) + right will skip to the end or the front of a line of text.

Shift + command + right will highlight a line of text
Shift + command + down will highlight a block of text

System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts:

At the bottom for "Full Keyboard Access" make sure "All Controls" is set.
