Need imac advice

I just ordered a 20" with 2gb ram. I really dont want to wait the time for shipping - my question is would i be ok with just 1gb? I will be using it at school and i have a video class now (final cut pro) and a photo class next semester (photoshop/in design). What about going to a 24" and keeping 1gb?

I would stick with 2GB of RAM. I use final cut express and it works great with the added RAM. Also, until Adobe releases a universal version of its apps you need the extra RAM for Rosetta.
