i personally have been using VisualHub for converting videos to AppleTV and iPhone and suddenly my cousin ask me what's the software for windows?

i've google around and found a few but weird thing is they all convert by the size selected, say 640x480, the result make the movie sort of distorted

any software in windows as easy as visualhub for mac?

thanks

I have used Handbrake, which works well, but can be a tiny bit confusing.

I also use Slysoft's CloneAnyDVDMobile which is a fair bit easier overall to use. You can also get a free 30 day trial to that to test it out.

oh i didn't realise that handbrake is available for windows. will it convert .avi too?

i'll have a look about slysoft

thanks

just downloaded format factory and it looks really good.

what settings do you use to convert to mp4 for showing through apple tv. i'm looking to show mine on a 42" plasma.

most of my files are either vob, avi or divx.
