just came across this on Craig'sList. They only want $1000. Seems too good to be true.

I think that I could buy and then re-sell for about $1500, or I might just keep it and sell my PB 1.67.

check out the specs. what do you guys/girls think?

Doesn't seem legit to me. At all. Does he say where he is located, or leave that out? I've found that especially if they don't list a local city/town within your area on the ad, they are almost ALWAYS scammers.

I think its too good to be true. Try to deal w/ in person and cash only. Also consider if it is true it might be a little on the warm side. So proceed with extreme caution.

It's in a college town. Maybe the kid got it from his parents and doesn't know the value?

Definitely, I would meet in person to check it out.

Only consider it a deal if you can touch it, rub it, smell it and play with it.

If you cant do any of those... then its not a good relationship.

CL is known for scams if its not a in person deal.

Good luck
Rob

Bogus.

I bet you a dollar if you reply, you'll get an email from someone purporting to be in Wolverhampton, UK or the like.

if you email them..they will email back and tell you...they are not in state..will ship VIA some kind of weired places...watch out!!

As the others are saying, the only way to tell if it's legit is to deal locally and meet in person. Craiglist seems to have a lot of mail scams.
