Just got the new Macbook Pro 15 with snow leopard pre-installed. I see the panel number is 9CA4. The white is a tinge soft compared to a friend's late 2008 Macbook Pro 15 which is much whiter though the colors are less saturated. I would just like to find a calibration that would whiten out the white (lose the yellowish or soft pinkish tint to the white) and calibrate the screen. WHen I went to a store here in Paris it appeared that all of the screens now on SL may be a tad softer on the white compared to Leopard, but I don't have great eyes and am no expert.
Has anybody created a color profile for the 9CA4 panel that I might try. Or is there an explanation.
Thanks
