Need MacBook Pro advice, please!

I want to buy a new MacBook Pro, I was look at the 15" core i5, 320Gb one. But I was reading about and some people think there will be an Apple advent early new year, January, Februray time, and I don't want to get one now, thinking that come Feb, they'll be a new one out.

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance

There is an update expected to happen in Q1/2011, but nothing is really known, as Apple does not make its roadmap public.
