I'm new to the forums and first off, I'm looking to buy a MacBook for the first time.

I will be going back to college soon and I just love the style/sleekness and features of the MacBooks as I have tried them before. Now for everyday use, I'll be surfing the web, downloading lots of music and videos (movies), probably do some photoshop work here and there but not like I'm doing professional editing or anything.

With school, I'm a Computer Information Technology major so is this laptop really the best choice for me overall? I've been using Windows since Windows '98 up til Vista and I just can't stand it anymore, I know its time for a real upgrade haha.

I've searched around these forums and even read the links on top of this section but figured maybe I'd like more advice from some of you guys & gals. Any suggestions will be much appreciated and thank you!

You will really need to see what is introduced on Tuesday.

Have you went to a store and looked at the current models in person?

You need to decide what screen size works best for you.

Where have you been?
lol I guess it's only been confirmed since yesterday after all.

This Tuesday is what so many here have been waiting for that I guess we forget that the rest of the world doesn't hang on every word out of Cupertino.
