I have a black mac book and it desperately needs more ram. It has a 2 Ghz Intel Core Duo processor & 1 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. I feel fine with changing the ram myself i just need to know the max ram i can put in it. Also, wheres a good place online to buy this?

I believe your MacBook will take 4GB. (It will only use 3, but there are some gains to be had by putting in a matched 2GB pair. You could just go with 3GB if that is easier on the wallet.)
There are plenty of online sites you can use, but I have personally used OWC. (www.macsales.com)

Good luck!

i just got a black MacBook. my first thing i bought was a matched 2GB of RAM. i heard it was the best way to go even though black MacBook's can hold up to 3GB.
