My track pad works great but I got a new mouse, (Microsoft Arc Mouse) It's an amazing mouse, only one problem. It either goes to fast or to slow... When I go to the system preferences, and go to mouse speed, and move it down to the slowest tick mark it is SOOOO slow it takes almost three hand movements to cross the page. and when I move it up only one tick mark it is insanely fast and with any tap if jumps across the screen. Just for a joke I though I would move it up to max... it took me almost a minuet to get it on the marker again (Because it was moving so fast.) I'm wondering if there is an in between the two tick marks? DX Please help.

It doesn't require a driver, but Microsoft’s IntelliPoint software should work with it, and may give you more options for adjusting the tracking speed. Compared to most Microsoft software it's actually relatively palatable in my limited experience using it at work.

A quick Google or VersionTracker search should lead you to it.

Thanks I'll try that I really hope that works. =D

Look in Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences
Is there a plist file for the mouse?
For mine, I see com.apple.driver.AppleHIDMouse.plist
Yours would probably be something starting with com.microsoft....

If you find it, do you know how to verify whether it's corrupt?
