Having problems with my current phone. I am going to restore it and bring it to apple to try to get it replaced. I assume that the replacement would be on 4.0.2. Is there any way to downgrade it to 4.0.1 so that I can jailbreak it? I assume saving the SHSH blobs from my current phone will do me no good on my future phone, right?

yes your old SHSH won't do any good for you at this point, You can still get some 4.0.1 that are in stock (may people are reporting that are still getting 4.0.1) and as last night Apple server were still signing 4.0.1. So you may still make the cut if you do it quick.

However if you get a 4.0.2 and by the time you get home Apple is not singing 4.0.1 anymore you are pretty much out of luck until a new jailbreak comes out (which we are pretty sure it won't happen until 4.1 hits)
