Need new battery- 2008 MacBook Pro

i replaced my battery 5 years ago. Well it's so dead now that if you unplug from charger it is dead. I bought an aftermarket battery last time, but they no longer seen them. Where is a good place to buy a battery from? With all the lithium fires with phones lately I'm a little leery about buying a cheap one. Apple ones are a little high.

Hate to say it this way, but suck it up and buy Apple's battery or replace your Mac. There's no point in buying aftermarket. You get what you pay for.

I need one too as my bulged and stopped the trackpad from working. Mine is 2008 and too long in the tooth

This is the issue with the new MBPs. I just don't want to pony up £2500 right now
