it's cheaper for a reason, obviously it's a knock-off of the real Apple product. I wouldn't buy one because I've learned from my mistakes: tried to buy a replacement magsafe on eBay and when I plugged it in the plastic case started swelling and I smelled burnt plastic.

unless you want a time-bomb on your lap, I wouldn't buy this. save yourself the trouble and buy a real replacement battery.

I need a new battery for my MBP & my MB, apple sells for $119 I found this
one below for $59....has anyone had luck with one of these?

How many cycles did your battery have on it? If the performance drops below unacceptable levels Apple should and do replace it for free.

Anything under around 200 cycles and below 30% health and often they will give you a new one free. Sometimes up to 300 cycles.

Yes, you are correct. However, it is 300 cycles OR 1 year.

Where did you get the 1 year part from?

They replaced my faulty battery after 22 months with no questions asked although I realise that often it is down to the discretion of the genius bar. Supposedly they consider that the battery should be able to hold 80% after 300 cycles I read.
