I need a graphic os for my g3 ibook any ideas?:I need an operating system for the ibook g3 DualUsb . i had OsX10.3 . is it possible to download it or another freeware os to boot the computer and run on. i need it for personel use .music video writing etc..

Mac OS 9 and some early versions of Mac OS X might run on them.

Have a look here for your model and see what the minimum and maximum OS version is that can be installed.
Then use eBay or some other place to get it. At one point Apple even had old Mac OS versions on their public FTP, but I don't know the address nor if it includes OS 9.

Btw, your thread title is in-descriptive.

Have you also taken a look at http://mroogle.*************/MRoogleSmall.gif, since that question may have been asked several times?

Run 10.4 on it. It is fully supported and will run faster than all before it.

Edited :::::::::

You can contact Apple and ask for replacement CDs for your iBook, but most likely that will be Mac OS X 10.2 or less if it is one of these G3 iBooks

or Mac OS 9 if it came with one of these

.

So if you want Mac OS X 10.3 or 10.4, you have to find a place where to buy a REATIL version of it, eBay might be a good place, but beware of GRAY RESTORE CDs, as they are machine specific and might not run on your iBook, thus the RETAIL version is the one to go.
