Need os x application...

Hello everyone.

I'm sorry if I am being bothersome here but I lost my mac os x cd and am in dyer need of the system preferences application. I don't know and have know idea how it got lost but it is no longer in my apps folder and of course we all need the system preferences application.

So my humble request is that if someone could email me the application I would be much obliged. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me out!

Call Apple, they will send you a copy of the restore discs.

Are you sure? I have a really old mac and no warranty on it...

You can order copies of the restore discs, not sure how far they go back.

What version OSX preferences are you looking for ?

download the combo update and install it. It should put the preference app back in where it belongs.

Have you use spotlight to search for it?

yes I did do a search for it and no where to be found.
