Need OS9 utility to create disc image from DVD in iBook

I'm trying to make a bootable OSX install USB stick 'CD' to do some maintenance on a MacBook OSX10.4 which has a broken CD/DVD reader.

My plan, using an old MacBook G3 is to create a disc image of the OSX installer CD but I can't find an OS9 utility that will make a CD disc image from the original DVD?

Any suggestions?

For a far easier solution to your original problem, please see my reply to your last thread. You don't need to bother with disk images or any of that kind of stuff.
