Need Quicken 2004 Help

I just installed 2004, and was able to use QIF export/import to move my data without much trouble. I can't for the life of me figure how to get mutual funds to update total value. If that's not possible, I can't figure how to change mutual fund accounts to portfolio accounts.
Any help would really be appreciated.
