I currently using Windows XP and have both a PC desktop and laptop which are about 4.5 years old. I'm using PS CS3 and LR 2.0 on my desktop. I'm looking to buy a new laptop and was thinking about a Apple MacBookPro Laptop. I only plan to use LR on it initially but in the future maybe install PS CS5. Do you have a recommendations of what MacPro laptop (screen size, disk size, amount of RAM, anti glare screen, etc) I should look at buying?

My budget is $2500.

Thanks, Arnold

If you are limited to Photoshop and Lightroom, any Mac will be fine for you. I'd get 13" or 15" + external display

LR and PS rely on the GPU more than ever

Do not get the base model with the 9400M, go with the next model with the dedicated 9600 video card.

$1799 AR -- http://www.macconnection.com/IPA/Shop/Product/Detail.htm?sku=9899489

Or bump up one notch for $2100, larger 500 gig drive and 2.8 ghz

External monitor is a great idea, plenty of good ones. A *great* one is the Dell U2410 -- $500 right now

Thank You

I want to thank everybody who replied to my inquiry about the Mac Book pro.
