Need reviews on G4 1GHZ Upgrade

Ok so here's the deal, I've been slowly upgrading my Sawtooth G4 450 for a while now. I've increased the memory, put in a bigger HD, upgraded the Video Card to a Radeon 9000 and added a DVD Burner. The only thing I've been waiting on is the processor because of cost. Now OWC has a great deal on a PowerLogix 1GHz Upgrade card and I'm looking for reviews from anyone who's done the processor replacement and how much of a difference the upgrade will make. I was hoping to have this PowerMac last me till the Intel Mac's come out (Hopefully buying an iBook soon, but want to wait for a new PowerMac). Specifically I'm hoping for improvements with the overall system preformance, DVD encoding, and some gaming performance increases (Specificly the Sims for my wife). Any advice is appreciated. i went from 800mhz to a Giga 1.33ghz, and the difference was pretty noticable.
