Hello there. I'd like to know if a MacBook should work for these things I want to do:
I own a 20" iMac and I've been using Photoshop a lot lately. I'd like to have a secondary display to keep the tools and pannels on it and keep the iMac's screen for just the picture I'm working on. Apparently ScreenRecycler lets you share the display between two computers but I don't know if I could run PS on my iMac and keep the tools and stuff on the MacBooks's screen considering they have diferent screen resolutions.
I'd also like to use the MacBook to use Ableton Live to play and record music with my band.
I guess it should handle Live with no problems but I'm not sure how could the MacBook work as a secondary display using ScreenRecycler, for the tasks I want to (just the picture on the iMac, the rest on the MacBook). So, if you think a MacBook could be a good choice for me to do this stuff, please give me some advice. Thanks!
