Hi, I was tring to setup printer sharing but Mac Os X Panther hangs. Now can't shut down my ibook. Is there any way I can Shut Down it? How to shut down running applications in Mac? May be this will help. Please help me. Thanks.

To shut down apps: Force Quit
All together now: Apple + Alt + Esc (top left)

Find the app that's causing grief & kill it.
See if that helps...

Well if you want to improperly shut it down unplug it and take out the battery.

Or just (firmly) hold the power-button down for 5-10 secs... might be a little gentler...

Thanks everyone. I use the Force Quite Option. It worked.
Thanks everyone. You guys saved me. Without you guys, I won't be able to use my ibook. Thanks from my bottom of my heart. :)
