Hi. Thanks for helping me out!

Im using premiere 7 to edit a movie for school... I'm used to using imovie 3 on my 350 G4  pretty slow. But I have access to a fast PC so im using premiere. Wow imovie is much better. But anyways, the clip holder in imovie is right there and is a very nice feature to hold all the clips you get from long videos. Where is the clip holder in premiere? I have looked everywhere and asked my PC friend that uses it a lot he doesn't know either. Where is it?! When you import video it goes to the top left project screen and imported clips. When i try and drag video clips from the timline to the project window it gives me an "X" and cut and paste is grayed out. What do I do! Its VERY annoying to edit W/O a clip holder window.

Please help!!! Thanks!!!

You have to render clips in the timeline before your can view them. Other wise you get the red X.
