Need some advice on getting a Display

I have a 13" MacBook Pro and I'm willing to Desktop-ize it because the Screen size is not big enough for watching movies or Video editing.

I have a Mosh Mini Display Port to HDMI Adapter so I'm looking for an HDMI Display. I need something as good and big as possible for around 250$.

Any Ideas?

Just go to Newegg, sort the displays according to your budget and connector, and read the reviews.
