I've asked in other forums before but seems it either doesn't exist or nobody knows? Anyways, I've been on android for a few years now and with the note 5 seeming pretty lackluster I'm tempted to switch back to ios. There are 2 apps I absolutely need though. One is mx player and the other is poweramp.

For mxplayer, I really like that you just drop in any mkv file and you play it. Swipe on left side for brightness, right side for brightness, and horizontally to skip around in video. It simply just works. Does ios have anything remotely close with such high file compatability?

For poweramp, I'm kind of archaic in the sense that I like having my music in folders since I haven't gotten around to tagging them all perfectly. Also I really like that i can bass boost without messing with the EQ curve. Anything somewhat similar on ios?
