So I have been a long-time mac user, but this Automater thing in OS X never really made much sense to me. So for the first time, I have something simple I want to do and automate, but I can't figure out how to make automater do it!!
It is a simple task: I have a folder of PNG images which I would like to "save as" PDF format.
Manually, this is easy to do, just tedious, so I would like to automate it.
1) Open file with "Preview"
2) Choose "Save as..." and choose format PDF, with default filename and location
3) Close the file
That's it! I actually know a few things about programming, too, so the fact that I can't figure out Automater is quite frustrating to me.
